Meet Mick Fiteni: The coach behind "SquashMind"

Welcome!

My name is Michael Fiteni. As a professional squash coach, my role in the lives of my students has been very rewarding.

My great passion started in Melbourne, Australia where I grew up. At the age of four, I began playing squash and was immediately hooked. So hooked that I remained undefeated throughout a ten-year junior career in Victoria and top #4 World Junior in 1994 and Captain of the Australian team. With seven PSA titles and a highest PSA ranking of #61, I achieved many highs as a player - but I know there was more to it.

And so I became a qualified squash coach when I was 14. Today, 25+ years later, squash is still my greatest passion in life. I’ve coached at grassroots level, professionals, a country, and everything in between. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual. The art of coaching is proven theory along with experience, and knowing what to add and omit is vital for good coaching.

My website is a collection of information that I find beneficial towards coaching, high performance training, and optimizing health. I’m a sucker for exploring new training methods and health hacks. If you have anything you’d like to share, please feel free to reach out. Thanks for taking time to visit my website.

Yours in Squash!
